Selling on Braaands™

Short guide for Designers

Before activating the selling option, please take a moment to review how the process works and what is expected from you.

How selling works

Brands on Braaands™ are not purchased instantly.
Each sale follows a request-based process.

Before a sale is finalized:

  • A potential buyer submits a request for your Brand
  • Braaands™ reviews the request together with you to confirm:
    • that the Brand is suitable for the buyer’s business
    • that the requested adaptations are feasible
    • that you are currently available to take on the project

Only after your confirmation, the buyer can proceed with the purchase.

What happens once your Brand is sold

  • You receive an instant email notification
  • The buyer’s contact details and confirmed adaptations are shared with you
  • Your Brand is automatically marked as sold

From this point on, the Brand:

  • may not be resold, licensed, or reused commercially
  • You may continue to showcase the original Brand as a portfolio reference.
  • The customized version created for the Buyer (including name, content, or business-specific adaptations) may not be publicly displayed or reused without the Buyer’s consent, unless otherwise agreed (e.g. NDA).

Important: Sales only via Braaands™

Selling or licensing Brands outside of Braaands™ is not permitted.

This also applies if:

  • a buyer contacts you privately
  • a lower price is offered
  • communication happens via email, Instagram, or other channels

All sales must be processed exclusively through Braaands™.
This ensures secure payments, a clear process, and platform support.

Your first task: Contact the buyer (within 48 hours)

You must contact the buyer within 48 hours after the purchase.

Your first message should include:

  • a short, friendly introduction
  • a brief outline of your process
  • any open questions regarding the requested adaptations
  • the next steps (timeline, required input)

A simple “Hi” is not sufficient.

Adaptations & delivery

  • You are fully responsible for all agreed adaptations
  • Adaptations are limited to what is included in the selected package(s)
  • Timing and details are clarified directly with the buyer
  • The work must be delivered professionally and reliably

Adaptations are typically completed within around one week,
including up to two revision rounds, unless agreed otherwise.

Additional services are not included by default and must be agreed upon separately.

Files & handover

You deliver only the files defined in the selected package.

Typically:

  • open logo files (AI or EPS)

Additional working or source files are not required, unless explicitly stated.

Fonts & licenses

  • Fonts, images, or mockups are only included if explicitly stated
  • Non-transferable licenses must be purchased by the buyer independently
  • You are not required to transfer license purchases

Tip: Clearly inform the buyer which fonts or assets were used.

Portfolio & self-promotion

You may showcase the Brand and its adaptations as reference work
(on your website, portfolio, or social media).

Exception:

  • if a different agreement applies (e.g. NDA)

Availability is mandatory

  • Keep your email address up to date (editable in your profile)
  • Remain reachable throughout the project

If you do not respond:

  • Braaands™ may cancel the sale
  • the buyer will receive a refund

Repeated issues may lead to removal of your Seller status.

Special cases

If you are unable to complete a project for valid reasons:

  • inform Braaands™ as early as possible
  • Braaands™ will decide on a refund or alternative solution

Your design will not be rebuilt, reused, or copied.

In short

  • Respond quickly
  • Deliver clean, professional work
  • Stick to the selected package
  • Stay reachable
