(Dusal) is a cosmetics brand, sculpting landscapes into form, where each product is designed after its own dedicated landmark in Peru. The brand draws on generations of harvesting techniques, transforming centuries of tradition into contemporary packaging. The concept starts directly from its name, derived from the Spanish “de sal”, translating to “from salt”, communicating the value of preserving Peruvian culture through salt itself. For (Dusal), in their first collection of facial creams, liquid soaps and perfume bottles, landscape becomes part of the objects themselves. Taking on an architectural approach, each product’s silhouette is carved from the inside out, creating a set sculptural containers. The country’s influence on the brand is seen further on the packaging and identity, following Peru’s natural unpredictability and translating it into a scattered yet a clean visual language that extends across print and digital.
